The ELI High School Programme is a placement and guardianship service which enables international students to immerse themselves in the first-class boarding and day schools in Ireland. Our advisory and placement service provides parents with a handpicked selection of schools matched to their requests and requirements. Our welfare and guardianship services ensure students can challenge themselves both personally and academically knowing our team are available whenever they need us.
For many of our students it is their first time away from home without their parents, so our primary goal is to ensure they receive the care and support they deserve. We have designed all of our services to achieve these goals and to provide a fantastic opportunity for your child to develop their independence and acquire the life & language skills to thrive in the modern world.
We provide your child with a dedicated advisor & mentor who will guide and support them throughout their experience. Your child will receive a letter from their mentor prior to arrival in their welcome pack and meet them on their first day at orientation.
We offer expert advice & assistance in finding the right school for your requirements. We provide a hand-picked selection of at least three schools to choose from based on your individual child’s hobbies and interests to ensure they gain the best experience possible from their time in Ireland.
We actively encourage all our students to participate in sports or extra-curricular activities to help them to keep active and to promote a more positive experience.
We offer complimentary weekly English classes in our centrally located language schools. These classes have proven successful in the past, not least for contributing to student’s language acquisition but also as a social outlet for your child to catch-up and check-in with other participants and their mentor.
We select our friendly host families for the welcome and care they will provide. All our families are recruited and inspected by ELI staff and have passed Police checks. We prioritise families with children of the same age.
