Hotel

Hostel Generator Paris: HOSTEL IN PARIS NEAR GARE DU NORD. A central design and experience hotel in Paris (near Gare du Nord), fashion galleries. Boutique stores. Pastoral cafes. Canal St. Martin in the 10th arrondissement is everything you would expect from the French capital, but with more than its fair share of contemporary fashion. The Generator Paris is located opposite the iconic French Communist headquarters of Oscar Niemeyer, just a few steps from the Canal Saint-Martin and the Buttes-Chaumont park, and just a 15-minute walk from the Gare du Nord train station. With a cozy combination of cinematic design, vivid colors, a bright reception, and several unique social spaces to suit your mood, you’ll feel like you’re on the set of a Parisian art movie. On the ground floor of our hotel in Paris, you will find the Café Fabien with its canteen and its conservatory overlooking the garden. A curved staircase leads to the vaulted ceilings of Le Club, inspired by the Paris metro. Go up to the ninth floor to discover the Khayma Rooftop, complete with an awning, a bar, and stunning views of the Sacré-Cœur and Montmartre. Our Paris property represents the best of the city, all under one roof.

  • We recommend packing lightweight, loose-fitting clothing that can be easily layered to accommodate different temperatures, as well as a light jacket or rain gear.
  • A pair of sturdy walking shoes or sneakers is recommended for sightseeing.
  • You may want to pack fancier clothes if you plan to visit a high-end restaurant or a special performance.

In cities, street vendors are known for their steaming crepes, while delicious pastries and hot latte attract cafes. In restaurants, the prix fixe option is a popular way to enjoy a three- or four-course prix fixe menu for a good price.

  • Wi-Fi is available in most hotels, although some charges may apply.
  • There is no Wi-Fi on any of the coaches.

  • We strongly recommend that you accept debit / bank cards and credit cards, which can be used to withdraw cash at local banks as needed.
  • You can use most debit / credit cards at ATMs on the international Cirrus and Plus networks, but be sure to check with your local bank for withdrawal fees.
  • Inform your bank and credit card company about your travel plans so they don’t mistake your international purchases for fraudulent charges.
  • International banks and companies mainly accept debit and credit cards that work with the EMV chip system. If you do not yet have at least one debit or credit card with a chip, we recommend that you request one from your bank before your tour.
  • All optional paid excursions will be available for purchase while on your tour.
  • Please note that if you pay for an excursion by credit card during the tour, it may take up to three months for your card to be charged.
