Arrival

Welcome to Madrid! It’s time to settle in and meet our tour guide and other group members before enjoying a walking tour.

Madrid is a city to enjoy life. For us, there is no better way to know and experience Madrid like a local than taking a look at its gastronomy. On this tour you will discover the history and evolution of tapas. It is important to know that tapas is a deeply rooted way of socializing in Spain, while enjoying hot and cold sandwiches accompanied by a good wine or beer.

In the evening, we will head into town for a fun and social evening on a pub crawl.

Day 2: Departure Day

Walking tour of the best highlights of the city of Madrid. We will begin the visit in the Plaza Mayor, which was originally the market in the town of Madrid.

Strolling along the Calle Mayor we will arrive at the Plaza de la Villa, where we find some of the oldest buildings in the city, as well as their contrasted architectural styles. From there we will continue to the Royal Palace, which occupies the same place where the Alcazar of Madrid was.

Later we will visit the Almudena Cathedral. We will also visit the Plaza de Oriente, surrounded by the Royal Palace and the Madrid Opera. The tour will end by discovering the secrets of Puerta del Sol and getting to know the famous statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree.

Flight home

Transfer to Madrid airport to take the flight home.
