Technology is transforming the classroom, yet many experienced teachers find it challenging to adapt. Our courses are
designed to make digital tools accessible for all.

Digital Storytelling Techniques for Effective Teaching and Learning

This course takes the traditional technique of storytelling to a whole new level using up-to-date digital tools, applications, and software. Participants will be presented with a variety of digital tools they can
exploit and integrate into a digital story.

Participants will spend the course analysing different methods, templates, practice with infographics, add sound using Screencastomatic, and Weebly, while working on the practical aspects of digital storytelling, make their digital story and present it to their peers at the end of the course.

Throughout the course participants will develop knowledge of a wide range of digital storytelling tools; present digital storytelling; and apply digital storytelling methods to education.

Google for Education: Tools and Applications

Over the last 20 years technology has become a major influence in our lives. As technology develops it is only natural that teachers and education should too! By harnessing the mighty power of integrated communication technology (ICT), teachers can make their lessons more student-centred, dynamic, interactive, and students more independent in their learning. The course supports participants by guiding them in how they can incorporate a variety of Google tools and applications into their lessons. A project-based learning approach is applied to the sessions, and learners will use Google Docs, Forms, and Slides to collaborate while working on educational ICT based projects using Google Earth, Google My Maps, and Google Arts and Culture.

21st Century Teaching and Competence-Based Education

In this course participants learn new and innovative ways to deliver their lessons using taskbased and studentcentred approaches. The course examines practical applications, jigsaw interactional procedures, and various teaching techniques, e.g. ICQs and CCQs. They also learn the theory and practical application of competencybased education innovative way to assess and evaluate individual learners’ progress.
 
In addition, the course has been designed to help teachers improve their knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools and Apps, such as Padlet, Slido, Plot Generator, and Canva, and foster a collaborative atmosphere in their lessons. Participants will have practical demonstrations of how these tools can be integrated into their everyday classes, reflect on their strengths and weaknesses, and the main areas of education where these tools can be applied.
Participants will learn how to set up collaborative projects or creative online activities. There will be particular attention drawn to web solutions and applications that ensure inclusivity, i.e. allowing
students with diverse learning needs and abilities to fully participate
